1. The reigning AL CY Young winner, Dallas Keuchel, is off to a not-so-great start. He is currently 2-4 with a 5.11 ERA through six starts. His slow start can be attributed to his inability to find the strike zone this season. He has thrown the most balls — 255 — among all qualified pitchers in 2016. He has thrown a total of 627 pitches this season, which means that 40.7 percent of his pitches have been balls this season. That is about a 4 percent increase from last season’s percentage. His BB/9 has increased from 1.98 in 2015 to 4.38 in 2016. Keuchel might just be a little out of sync, but he needs to make adjustments before he digs himself too deep of a hole.
