With the offseason well underway, we have seen a lot of free agents change teams. Many of these free agents elected to switch teams, but not divisions. This list includes David Price moving from Toronto to Boston, Jason Heyward turning in his Cardinals jersey for a Cubs jersey, and Zack Greinke spurning the Dodgers blue for the new-look Diamondbacks jerseys. This got me thinking about the best players in recent memory to suit up on both sides of the Red Sox and Yankees rivalry. I picked the five most recent (and relevant) players to accomplish this feat. It should be noted that they all ditched the Red Sox for a chance to put on the pinstripes and play in the Bronx – and for chance a chance to shave their beards.
